rushing through the ages with the lightning in my eyes.
A dark reflection on the surface
down below, to the bottom of the pool that is the sky.

The gods are burning in the twilight
in the dawn, in the night - in the horizon between the eyes.
And at the dawn of our creation
the jaguar - the falling star - enters the black hole at its center.

unfolds like a golden arrow,
into the starless realm,
into the land of gold & marrow.
The four winds are blowing,
organs of the flame.
But we're just a silent witness,
adamant,
in the corner of the eye of the Universe.
The diamond heart is open
and fire turnes to flesh
this very night
with the horizon between the eyes.

This would have been highly impressive as a full length debut but Tiamtü was released first. But who cares? I'm just glad that this gem of orthodox black metal with its great bleak and occult feel and energy finally was remastered and released.

Hearing this is akin to my thrill the first time I heard that first Dead Can Dance lp...uncharted territory, this! Has a timeless production quality that hints of nostalgia but has a wholly unique voice in a sea of redundancy. I am congratulating myself for listening and I am thanking Shaam Larein for existing.
